Finally found the reason!

**************************

I was wondering since my 8th class, why are women so hard to get?!
Why is there so much competition ?!
Finally I found the answer!

Its because of sexual discrimination, female foeticide, infanticide!
Why are people so crazy!
I dont see any point in doing this!

Lets consider one of the standard reasons why people do not want a
female child.Dowry!

This might seem to be simple and straight forward, but people do not realise
the side effects they cause!

See the following example!

Rangaiah and rangamma are poor.
They don't want a female child as they are worried they might not be able to
pay dowry.

Rangamma has an abortion and later Rangamma has a son named Tinku.

By the time Tinku grows up, there are very few single women.

Tinku gets frustrated because of the competition!

Tinku kills the girl he loves and her boy friend!

Tinku's case cost his parents 5 lakh rupees, inspite of which Tinku is hanged to death!

Rangaiah now thinks a girl would have been better. He could have easily got her married with the five lakhs!

I can understand a father not wanting a female child because he is afraid of the future shopping bill! (pun intended!)
But I can never understand the dowry funda.

I was looking at the data of 2001 statistics of India and found them very disheartening!
The ratio is only 933 women to 1000 men!

This is the over all ratio.
If we see the data of never married population its more disheartening.. :(

Of the 512,667,639 persons who are never married, 289,619,359 are men and 223,048,280.
So atleast 66,571,079 guys would be with out a girl friend!

This is only an optimistic estimate.
I'm not considering other factors like Indian girls marrying better looking foreigners, dudes like Ranbir Kapoor who like to have more than 1 girl friend, female trafficking, divorced/widowed older men marrying younger women and many more!

So please dont practice/support sexual discrimination, female foeticide or infanticide or dowry!
